I hope to help you learn more about the benefits of orthodontics as well as a little about myself and staff. I feel that orthodontics is a profession as well as an art form
affecting faces, features, function, and self esteem and these benefits can last a lifetime. Music is an art as well, therefore, I have added these touches of musical whimsy.
When each person comes
to our office, I make decisions about their care as if he or she were a part of my own family. Over the past three decades of learning new techniques and with the newer philosophy of
treating patients at an early age, I have been able to avoid extraction of permanent teeth in a much larger percentage of patients.

We offer a full "orchestra" of orthodontic services for adults and children: from GAC Orthodontics, the new "Innovation Brackets," braces
(self ligating brackets which shorten treatment and allow longer appointment intervals), stainless steel ("silver") and gold braces, clear ceramic braces, multi colored ties,
new INVISALIGN appliances for straightening teeth without braces, removable appliances, palate expanders, growth appliances such as the Herbst and "Bite Jumpers", in-office
orthodontics x-rays and digital photography, in house orthodontics laboratory, tooth whitening systems to name a few.

When should a child first visit an orthodontist?
Obviously when your dentist advises a "tune-up
session."
The American Association of Orthodontists recommend a visit by age seven to allow Dr. Hirsh to work with a child's growth.
